Specifications

The Extra I‑Tap is designed for flexible use across workplaces and commercial environments with medium to higher demand. It is suitable for 10 to 60 or 20 to 100 users, depending on the selected capacity.

The system provides four water types and uses a compact undercounter cooling and filtration unit to keep the visible area clean and uncluttered. The tap offers a dispensing height of 330 mm, making it suitable for both glasses and bottles.

Operation is intuitive via a glass touch pad with pre-set portion control, allowing defined quantities to be dispensed automatically. This ensures consistent filling and efficient daily use.

Efficient cooling is enabled by compact aluminium cooling block technology, which reduces unit size and weight while requiring only 0.35 kWh per day in standby mode.

The CLARITY Protect filter preserves minerals in the water while reducing unwanted substances such as chlorine, metals and particles.

An optional Easy Access Panel enables barrier-free operation, allowing controls to be positioned at customisable heights for improved accessibility in different environments.

The BRITA CLARITY Protect filter at the inlet combines pre-filtration, activated carbon and hollow fibre membrane filtration. It reduces coarse particles, improves taste and odour, removes pharmaceuticals and metals such as lead, and filters out 99.999% of bacteria and 99.95% of cysts.

PureProtect provides an intelligent self-cleaning process by circulating water through the filtration system. The system adapts cleaning frequency based on user behaviour, supporting both hygiene and taste consistency.

ThermalGate™ regularly heats the outlet tap automatically, protecting against contamination from external influences such as contact or airborne droplets.

For environments with higher hygiene requirements, the optional HygienePlus system adds a fourfold safeguard against contamination and germs.
